What We Provide
Midwest Heart Connection (MHC), a 501c3 nonprofit organization, provides support for children and adults with CHD. We raise awareness of CHD in the community and support research and education in pediatric cardiology.
We have over 2,000 members and supporters from all across the U.S. however our primary focus continues to be the families affected by CHD right here in the Midwest region. With over 500 member families throughout the area we believe it’s important to help these families make the connection with us, other families in the CHD community, and medical professionals. Midwest Heart Connection continues to be a free membership organization because a majority of our funding each year comes from the generosity of individuals in the communities throughout the region and corporate philanthropy.
